Courtney & Simone's Wedding

I've known Courtney, or Court as I refer to her, for a many years. I even remember back a few years ago when Simone joined the hockey team. Both have always been amazing people and ones I hope to always call friends. I share Courts love for video games and photography and I wish I shared Simone's love for working out and personal training. Both of these ladies seems to complete the other and are the definition of cute. When I found out these two were getting married I wasn't surprised, as these two seem to have been glued to the hip shortly after they met.

Courtney and Simone's ceremony was held at a quaint little farm in Stony Point filled with rustic charm and beautiful scenery. The Ceremony started with each bride arriving in horse drawn carriage, wedding parties followed and ended as one tight knit group riding off together. In between, we saw two beautiful brides make their way down the aisle, two sets of very proud parents and a whole field full of excited onlookers.

Cocktail hour was busy with laughter and catching up with old friends and the making of new ones. Dinner speeches were a mixture of emotion and love, sprinkled with some French (Simone's side) that drew more laughs and cheers throughout the night. When the speeches were done, the sun started to set but the night was just warming up with drinking, dancing and entertainment.

Amanda & Nick

What a perfect day for a wedding! After meeting Amanda and Nick, an easygoing fun to be around couple, I knew their wedding day was going to be great. Nick and his groomsmen were looking very dapper in their suits, but nothing could compare to Amanda's natural beauty in her dress. The groomsmen gathered at Amanda and Nick's place to take some getting ready shots. Shortly after, the father surprised Nick with an old school gangster style car ride to the church. After all had been seated in the quaint church, Amanda slowly made her way down to a very excited Nick. The ceremony was filled with touching readings and happy faces. After the church ceremony was over, we went to the Canadian Club for family and the wedding party shots. We had a blast between getting the more formal (mom) shots and the fun type. I wish these two the best in the future and know it will be filled with love and excitement.

Melanie & Justin

Another great day for a wedding, the only thing better was Melanie and Justin. After meeting our Bride and Groom, it was evident that we would get some great shots of a loving couple and watch their families come together. I got to hang out with the guys as they got all spiffed up. Justin had custom cufflinks with loved ones pictures inside which made for a great detail shot. After Justin and his groomsmen suited up, it was time for the celebratory Fireball whiskey shots and a short drive over to the church. As Justin waited patiently in a separate room you could feel the excitement in the crowd build. Soon after Melanie walked down the aisle, all attention was on her and a huge smile beamed from Justin's face as his soon to be wife joined him. The ceremony was beautiful and many tears of joy were seen and feelings of pride were felt. The couple selected to head down to the Detroit River for pictures along the Peace Fountain. Some hesitation was verbalized on the jumping shots but they turned out to be my favourites. I wish the Campeau's a bright future together and thank them for letting me be a part of their special day.

Olde Walkerville Theatre Workshop

What can I say about the Windsor Photography/Modeling group. We are a group of about 200 local Windsor Ontario Photographers and Models that get together and practice our photography. This workshop took place at the Old Walkerville Theatre on Wyandotte Street. The venue provided many different backgrounds from fire truck red booth seating to dirty and dark old brick in the basement. What a great day was had by all. Thanks go out to Joey Acott for organizing this group of peers.
